I swear to god mom it’s not just a phase this is WHO I AM
Oh look, We found Fledgling Ankh!
What the hell?!
Ramu stood still, letting Ankh look her over as she thought about his question. “Well, I’m not really sure… I got lost after escaping these people that captured me, so I don’t really know where I’ve been…”
Ankh sighed. “You’ve been gone for five months…”
Ramu stood at the end of a street, looking around her. Since she had escaped Foundation X using a commotion she still didn’t know the source of, and a key she was almost certain had been left by Long, Ramu had been wandering, trying to find her way back, while also not sure where she was going back to. She had been helped by some very kind people, but even they didn’t know where she was trying to go.
But now she was here, standing on this familiar street corner. She had made it back…
Right?
Ankh had stepped out of Cous Coussier, looking at the house he and Eiji had bought for after their wedding, when someone came around the nearby corner. He barely noticed her at first, too busy glaring at a couple of nosy neighbors, but looked up when the person didn’t move.
At first, all he could do was stare. When he finally got his voice back, he called, “Ramu? Is that you?”
Ramu turned her head at the familiar voice, and a smile lit up her face. “Ankh? So I really have made it back!” She took quick, long steps to get to his side. “It’s me, dear. I’m back.”
“Ramu!” Ankh met her halfway, reaching out as if to hug her. At the last moment, he grasped her shoulders carefully, looking her over. “Where the hell have you been?”

“Woah!!” Miharu looked up at Ankh, then back to the screen, just as excited. The costume design was great and the fights were a lot cooler than he’d expected. The monsters looked like they belonged in a totally different series. This wasn’t what he’d expected at all given that the opening shot was a girl’s butt.
Ankh was so into the episode that he barely noticed his aisu melting all over his hand. When it was over, he just glanced at Miharu and asked, “Another episode?”
Miharu grinned up at Ankh. “Yeah! we have to see what this whole Docking thing is about right?” For being pretty fan-servicey, the show was more fun than he expected.
“Does that grandfather’s voice sound familiar to you?” Ankh asked as he brought up the next episode.
Miharu sighed. “Maybe it’ll get better…” This was a pretty common tactic to lure in a male audience. He knew that much. The designs were pretty nice otherwise, even if the tiny shorts were… sort of uncomfortable to watch.
Then the first magical girl fight happened, and Ankh was watching the screen raptly. “Miichan, look!” he kept exclaiming, his usual tsun personality gone in an instant.

“Yeah?” Miharu blinked and sat down beside him. “That sounds pretty cool… I haven’t been paying attention to what’s come out this season. I’ve been pretty busy.”
“So I’ve heard. King of Ama High, huh?” Ankh said, distracted by the opening credits. “And…”
Then the first butt showed up on screen, and he had to pause speaking in order to recover from biting his aisu on the wrong side.
Miharu blushed a little, “It’s not like I actually did anything to earn that. It’s just because I’m Matthew’s boyfriend.” He sighed. He almost glanced to Ankh as he started to speak again, and then there was a butt on screen and Miharu’s face reddened further and he wasn’t quite sure how to react. He looked up at Ankh helplessly. “W-Who told you about this?!” Oh god had someone accidentally recommended porn to Ankh?
“Someone on this site I go to…” Ankh said, starting to finish off his aisu properly. He breathed a sigh of relief when the fanservice was restrained to clothed butts. “They said it was pretty average for this year’s magical girls, but…”
